Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and we encourage physicians with various levels of experience to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Benefits and Compensation

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipends are available.
3. No weekend or night call is required.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

About Midwest Dysphagia Consultants

Our mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered using a mobile unit, as pictured on our website.

Services and Scheduling

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit, which serves various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure our staff is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
