Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a senior formulation scientist to develop and optimize OTC topical products, including creams, lotions, sprays and patches. The role integrates consumer insights with hands-on lab work and DOE to drive innovative product pipelines.

You will lead multiple formulation projects from concept to commercialization, ensure safety, stability, and regulatory compliance, and communicate results to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field plus 5+ years of experience, or a Master's with 3+ years, or a PhD with relevant industry experience.
Experience developing topical formulations for pharmaceutical or OTC products.
Hands-on experience with creams, lotions, sprays, liquids, and other topical dosage forms.
Familiarity with OTC monographs, formulation tools, and analytical testing methods.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize OTC formulations, topical, transdermal patches, and gels through hands-on lab work and DOE.
Translate consumer insights into innovative product development initiatives.
Manage multiple formulation projects from concept through commercialization within timelines and budgets.
Evaluate emerging scientific trends and formulation approaches to drive innovation.
Plan and conduct formulation studies to assess safety, stability, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
Communicate technical findings and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
