Job summary

L&R Distributors is seeking a Product Development Manager of Formulation to lead high‑impact product development initiatives across beauty categories. This hands‑on role drives concepts through commercialization, including formulation, testing, and scale‑up with contract manufacturers.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in OTC and SPF formulations, cross‑functional leadership, and a track record of delivering shelf‑ready products for major retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of product development experience in beauty, personal care, and/or OTC categories.
• Experience with OTC drug products and SPF formulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex development timelines, testing programs, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development and scale‑up across product lines.
• Coordinate validation and commercialization readiness.
• Manage timelines, critical paths, and budgets for development.
• Partner with CM, QA, Regulatory for compliance and testing.
• Drive end‑to‑end new product innovation for major retail channels.
