Job summary

Synchrony Health Services in Marlborough, SC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support treatment plans under the supervision of an OT. You will assist with therapeutic exercises and ADL training, document patient progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care.

Requires OTA degree from an accredited program, state OTA licensure, CPR certification, and 0-1 years of experience.

• Current CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and communicate findings to supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with observations.
