Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapeutic interventions under an OT. You will support ADL training, document progress, and educate patients and families on home exercises within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires OTA licensure and CPR certification is preferred, with 0–1 years of experience. A supportive orientation and team back-up are highlighted.

Qualifications

• OTA degree from an accredited program and current licensure.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans created by occupational therapists.
• Help patients with exercises, ADL training, and adaptive techniques.
• Document patient responses and progress in records.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
