Job summary

Medstaff Group in New York is seeking a NYS-licensed/certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for Early Intervention to work with children from birth to five. The role is based in Brooklyn and surrounding neighborhoods, offering a contract with a flexible caseload.

You will carry out treatment plans under a licensed OT, provide services in homes or daycares, and document sessions while coordinating with the care team. Mentorship is available for newcomers to this age group.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification.
• Experience with children under age five; pediatric experience preferred.
• Comfort delivering services in home- and daycare-based settings.
• Mentorship considered for candidates new to this age group.

Responsibilities

• Carry out OT treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or other natural environments.
• Document each session and coordinate with the supervising OT and care team.
• Maintain a dependable, flexible caseload in the assigned area.
