Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend testing or QA/OTA experience.
• Strong knowledge of OTA update mechanisms and device firmware distribution.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or C++ for test automation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Version control with Git.
• Experience with test tools such as Postman, JMeter, or pytest.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases for OTA update delivery systems.
• Validate backend services responsible for firmware and software distribution.
• Test update rollout mechanisms, including progressive rollouts and staged deployments.
• Verify database integrity and consistency during update processes.
• Conduct load and stress testing on OTA infrastructure.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps.
• Perform regression testing after fixes and updates.
• Validate rollback and recovery procedures.
• Test edge cases, error handling, and failure scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
