Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will lead while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes while mentoring and developing fellow therapists.

The role involves supervising therapists, coordinating team tasks and schedules, and driving continuous quality improvement to support a high‑performing inpatient rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS/CPR required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
