Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing is seeking an Occupational Therapist to coordinate and deliver therapy services. You will develop individualized treatment plans and evaluate patients across age groups, from infants to geriatrics, coordinating with rehabilitation, medical and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years clinical patient experience (preferred).
• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized treatment programs for patients.
• Evaluates assigned patients using records, interviews, observations and team input.
• Provides direct therapy services in various settings and plans therapy with the patient’s capabilities.
• Communicates with patient, family, physician and interdisciplinary team about progress and needs.
