Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide the therapy team, oversee scheduling and staff development, and deliver high‑quality patient care. You will work closely with the Director of Therapy Operations to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active OT licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited OT program required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations including scheduling, orientation, training and cross‑department communication.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to support recovery across physical, cognitive and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories and drive seamless implementation of procedures and treatments.
