Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide clinical staff and oversee therapy operations in a hospital setting. The role includes directing scheduling, staff training, and collaboration with hospital departments to ensure high-quality rehab services.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, leadership in OT practice, and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire for this role.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical OT experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily OT team operations (scheduling, orientation, training, communication).
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding therapeutic relationships to aid recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to meaningful rehab outcomes.
