Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide the OT team and drive high-quality rehab care. You will coordinate scheduling, orientation, and training, working closely with the Director of Therapy Operations to ensure seamless clinical operations.

You’ll provide direct patient care, foster strong patient relationships, and celebrate milestones on the recovery journey, leveraging advanced therapy techniques in a collaborative hospital

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire for this role.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
