Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide a rehab team, oversee scheduling and training, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a hands-on leadership role.

The position emphasizes collaboration, the use of advanced therapy techniques, and opportunities for professional growth within a nationwide in-patient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in the daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the occupational therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
