Job summary

Seattle City Light is seeking an experienced OT Systems Integrator to support and modernize EMS applications, ensuring reliable energy delivery across Seattle. The role involves collaboration with PSA, System Operations, engineers, and electricians to resolve issues and drive projects in a 24x7 environment.

Ideal candidates will have a background in Energy Management Systems or SCADA, plus proficiency in Linux/Windows, scripting, and automation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in an Energy Management System, OT, or SCADA environment, preferably in an electric utility.
• Strong understanding of SCADA fundamentals and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments; command line proficiency and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support EMS and related technologies for reliability and security of the Energy Delivery system.
• Collaborate with system operators, engineers, and field crews to troubleshoot real-time issues and deliver grid modernization projects.
• Safely deploy software changes, maintain system documentation, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
