OT Systems Integration Project Manager

Job summary

1898 & Co., a division of Burns & McDonnell, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex OT-focused integration programs across control systems, industrial networks, cybersecurity, and enterprise connectivity. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with clients on digital modernization and large-scale OT deployments.

Travel 30% and leadership across onshore/offshore teams are required; strong communication and program management experience

Qualifications

• Understanding of complex OT systems and telecommunications used by power utilities.
• Experience with electric utility operational technologies and standards.
• Leadership and communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of OT/IT convergence and cybersecurity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with clients to expand the ESI business line.
• Lead proposal development, estimation, planning, and scheduling.
• Establish project objectives and KPIs with clients.
• Lead contract preparation and negotiation with internal teams and clients.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships for data and analytics initiatives.
• Lead program estimation, planning, budgeting and delivery.
• Adopt and adjust Waterfall and Agile approaches.
• Manage full project lifecycles meeting schedule, budget and quality.
• Track and report project status, milestones, deliverables and financials.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore resources and vendors.
• Ensure QA/QC and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Serve as central contact for interdependencies between stakeholders.
• Influence project execution processes and QA/QC protocols.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams; mentor staff.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Champion innovation in delivery and new tools.
• Support staff development through coaching.
