Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a highly skilled OT Systems Engineer to implement and support backend infrastructures for next-generation controls and industrial software platforms. This role balances sustainment of live plant systems with modernization, operating in 24/7 environments and aligning OT with IT standards.

The position sits within the Supercomputer Physical Infrastructure team, collaborating with controls, facilities, and power groups across Memphis/Southaven campuses and future sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in OT systems engineering or industrial control systems administration.
• Experience with multiple industry-standard controls software platforms and tools.
• Strong background in high-reliability OT environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and augment OT environments supporting cooling plants, electrical distribution, and data hall systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support BMS/EPMS/SCADA/PLC platforms and HMIs.
• Integrate IT technologies to improve security, manageability, and scalability in plant environments.
• Maintain development, test, and staging environments for controlled change on live systems.
• Provide direct support during cluster bring-up, capacity expansions, and production training campaigns.
• Perform upgrades and maintenance during non-critical operations.
• Monitor services and respond to incidents to ensure high availability of power, cooling, and environmental control.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps initiatives in OT contexts.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test coverage and change control.
