Job summary

SpaceXAI in the Memphis/Southaven area is seeking an OT Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain critical industrial control environments supporting cooling plants, power distribution, and data halls.

You will work across BMS/EPMS/SCADA/PLC platforms, implement IT/OT convergence, and contribute to IaC with DevOps practices, while supporting live campus operations and on-site work. The role requires 3+ years of OT engineering, hands-on experience, and strong cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in OT systems engineering or industrial control systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with multiple industry-standard controls software platforms and tools.
• Significant experience designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting OT environments in high-reliability settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and augment next-generation OT environments across campuses.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC, and HMIs.
• Integrate IT technologies to improve security and scalability of plant environments.
• Deploy development, test, and staging environments for controlled changes on live systems.
• Support cluster bring-up, capacity expansions, commissioning, and training.
• Perform systems and software upgrades, including after-hours work.
• Monitor services and respond to incidents to maintain high availability.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps in IC/OT contexts.
• Collaborate with engineers to iterate on simulations and testing.
• Write and maintain standards, architectures, and procedures for reliable OT environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design robust OT architectures.
• Ensure OT systems comply with Purdue Model and IEC 62443.
