Job summary

Olin Chemicals is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Associate in Freeport, TX to ensure the reliability and security of the process control network across a large integrated site. The role troubleshoots, maintains, and enhances DCS connectivity while coordinating with engineering, operations, and IT to minimize downtime and maintain safe plant operations.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering/CS, 3+ years of technical experience, and knowledge of programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT server hardware/OS maintenance and troubleshooting in the OT environment (Windows).
• Collaborate with IT to maintain secure networks and patch management with minimal disruption to operations.
• Update procedures and complete Management of Change documents for Site OT processes.
• Collaborate with vendors, application developers, and IT to resolve complex problems and test software changes.
• Assist with managing DCS Level 1 and Level 2 spare equipment across site.
