Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. is building out OT security for scalable power infrastructure across multiple sites in Houston.

As the OT Security Analyst, you will design secure operational technology systems, validate that what is designed runs in production, and help create the security program from the ground up. You will partner with Engineering and IT, define security baselines, monitor vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents while aligning with IEC 62443 and NIST CSF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Engineering, or related field or practical equivalent.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity, including 2+ years in OT/ICS/SCADA environments.
• Experience designing or reviewing segmented industrial networks and Purdue model.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols like Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, IEC 61850.
• Experience with vulnerability management where devices cannot be scanned or rebooted.
• Hands-on with configuring/hardening industrial network equipment and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design secure OT networks and reference architectures across sites.
• Define hardening baselines for OT gateways, devices, and endpoints.
• Establish secure remote access, authentication, and logging.
• Extend security tooling into OT and evaluate gap tooling.
• Lead or support OT incident response and audit evidence for SOX ITGC.
