Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. seeks an Operational Technology Security Analyst to evaluate, attack, and harden ICS security while prioritizing safety. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and a hands‑on approach to protect critical industrial control systems.

Responsibilities include vulnerability assessments on OT environments, protocol analysis, and reporting risks to both engineers and plant leadership, with a strong emphasis on non‑disruptive testing to prevent downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated cybersecurity testing experience.
• At least 2 years focused on OT/ICS environments.
• Solid working knowledge of industrial network architecture and the Purdue Model.
• Safety awareness with testing in operational environments where physical safety is priority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on, safety‑first security assessments, documenting vulnerabilities and collaborating with plant engineers to mitigate risks.
• Vulnerability testing on OT environments including SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and HMI systems.
• Analyze and test proprietary/open industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, BACnet).
• Evaluate network segmentation designs (Purdue Model) and identify IT‑to‑OT bridging issues.
• Deliver clear, actionable remediation reports to engineering teams and plant managers.
• Design customized, non‑disruptive testing methodologies to avoid triggering physical system failures.
