Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Advisor IT Operation Technology to ensure reliable OT systems supporting field operations across North America. You will evaluate risks, support disaster recovery efforts, and provide technical leadership for the OT environment.

The role requires strong OT/ICS/SCADA expertise, travel across US/Canada, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance modernization and resilience initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree or technology diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of OT infrastructure, industrial communications, field automation technologies, and remote monitoring systems.
• Experience with networking technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, cellular, modems, and industrial communication protocols.
• Knowledge of RTUs, data acquisition systems, field instrumentation, and telemetry technologies.
• Four or more years of directly related experience supporting OT/ICS/SCADA, telemetry environments, or industrial networking solutions.
• Able to travel throughout North America for business purposes.
• Preferred: experience in disaster recovery, resiliency, and business continuity programs within critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the reliability, resilience, and security of OT systems enabling critical energy delivery operations.
• Provide technical expertise for industrial communications, telemetry, SCADA, networking, and remote monitoring supporting field operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate technology risks and improve OT solution performance and supportability.
• Coordinate disaster recovery exercises, resiliency testing, and business continuity initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, recovery procedures, and resiliency standards.
• Contribute to lifecycle planning, modernization, and strategic roadmaps for OT infrastructure.
• Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations that enhance reliability, cybersecurity, recoverability, and long-term value.
