Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a community-focused rehabilitation center in Ohio. The role spans inpatient and pediatric settings with a 50/50 split, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.

The OT will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based plans of care, and deliver high-quality therapy across age ranges from neonate to geriatric. A strong emphasis on patient safety and interdepartmental collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current, active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required).
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Strong working knowledge of OT practices across inpatient and pediatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality OT to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
• Provide care across neonate through geriatric.
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50).
• Supervise COTAs and OT students.
• Ensure compliance with standards, payer regulations, and facility policies.
• Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional communication and customer service.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center.
