Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation seeks an Operations Technology (OT) Supervisor to oversee maintenance, reliability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement of the site’s OT systems, including industrial control networks and instrumentation.

You will provide technical leadership, supervise daily support, lead OT projects, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and corporate teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in Engineering, IT, Automation, Electrical, or related field.
• 5–8 years of OT/automation/electrical/instrumentation experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily OT operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for OT systems and field instrumentation.
• Lead OT projects including installation, configuration, commissioning, upgrades, and optimization of control systems and networks.
• Ensure reliability, cybersecurity, and safe operation of OT systems; manage risks and incident response.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors; partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT and corporate teams.
• Maintain documentation and CMMS work orders; support commissioning and calibration activities.
