Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation in Washington State seeks an Operations Technology (OT) Supervisor to oversee maintenance, reliability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement of the site's OT systems, including PLCs, DCS, HMIs, and SCADA. You will lead OT projects, manage contractors, and partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and corporate teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Electrical or Instrumentation Journeyman certification or equivalent training preferred.
• 5–8 years of OT, automation, electrical, instrumentation, or mining industry experience.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or technical leadership experience preferred.
• Strong OT systems knowledge: PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMIs, industrial networks, and asset management platforms.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and OT regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation, maintenance, and support of OT systems across site operations.
• Lead OT projects from installation to commissioning and optimization.
• Support PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure cybersecurity, reliability, and safe operation of OT systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Participate in audits, safety, and change management activities.
• Mentor and coordinate contractors and vendors; communicate with cross-functional teams.
