Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an engineering professional in the United States to develop, review, and approve asset and maintenance plans that meet reliability, cost, and compliance objectives.

You will drive capital investment input, manage budgets, lead Lean initiatives, oversee projects from concept to implementation, and provide technical leadership across teams while upholding GMP, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline with understanding of GMP, safety, health and environment (SHE) and SOPs.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and ability to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve asset and maintenance plans to ensure reliability, cost objectives, and compliance with standards.
• Own and manage engineering change controls, deviations, and abnormal occurrences with accurate completion.
• Lead asset improvement initiatives using Lean tools and monitor performance improvements for internal/external customers.
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation, including capital expenditure planning and management reporting.
• Coordinate resources across departments and project teams to achieve program goals and business objectives.
• Provide technical advice and act as a technical owner in specific engineering areas.
• Plan and monitor major and minor projects from concept through implementation with technical leadership.
• Gather, analyze, and report data relevant to business processes, compliance, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, health, and environmental standards; promote digital tools and change management.
• May line manage a team.
