Job summary

Saginaw Valley State University is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Lab Associate to support didactic, community, and simulation labs and manage MSOT health record requirements. Working with the OT Lab Coordinator and faculty, you will prepare and run lab activities, monitor student compliance (ACEMAPP, HIPAA, OSHA), maintain equipment, and assist with day-to-day operations.

This role requires strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to support students and instructors

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy or related field.
• Licensed as an occupational therapist or eligible for licensure.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OT Lab Coordinator, faculty and staff to support didactic and community learning.
• Provide skilled support to faculty with learning activities on and off campus.
• Assist in planning, evaluation, and execution of lab activities and practical examinations.
• Manage MSOT health record requirements (CastleBranch) and annual trainings.
• Monitor student compliance and communicate with those out of compliance.
• Coordinate with fieldwork staff and ACEMAPP rotations.
• Maintain and organize lab equipment and materials.
• Propose equipment purchases to maintain instructional standards.
