Job summary

Jupiter Power in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize our virtualization and storage environments in a hybrid office.

The role emphasizes Hyper-V, Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise storage, with on-call responsibilities and collaboration with security and networking teams.

Return‑to‑office requires three days in the Austin office, with opportunities to influence critical business applications and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• OT environment experience.
• NERC CIP and regulatory familiarity.
• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering or sysadmin.
• Expertise in Hyper-V with clustering.
• Production experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience managing enterprise storage (Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Administer Windows Server and major Linux distributions.
• Manage enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and data protection.
• Implement backup, DR, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor health with System Center, Windows Admin Center, Prometheus/Grafana.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams; on-call duties.
