Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect in Jackson, MS with 16+ years of experience to lead architecture for IT/OT integration and secure operations.

You will validate target-state OT infrastructure, define network segmentation per Purdue Model, guide integration of AD, PKI, and endpoint protection, and collaborate with security, site teams, and SMEs to resolve blockers.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of OT/IT architecture experience.
• Experience with IT/OT security, Purdue Model guidance.
• Strong collaboration across client teams, security, and SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate the OT infrastructure architecture and stack.
• Collaborate with Client’s Technical Architects, program stakeholders, site teams, security teams, and SMEs to capture requirements.
• Assess current-state site environments and identify architecture dependencies and migration needs.
• Validate target-state OT infrastructure architecture across network, IAM, endpoint management, security tooling, and operations.
• Define and review network segmentation per Purdue Model principles (IT vs operations vs DMZ vs control systems).
• Provide architecture guidance for secure IT/OT integration and approved security standards.
• Validate integration architecture for AD, Privileged Access, PKI, endpoint protection, ePO, SCCM, and related services.
• Review designs, build docs, high/low level designs, and migration plans for consistency with architecture.
• Act as a design authority for architecture questions, decisions, exceptions, and deviations.
• Identify risks, gaps, and blockers; drive timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Support governance forums, design reviews, and technical decision reviews with clear outcomes.
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
