Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect with 16+ years of experience to lead and validate complex OT infrastructure architectures. The role requires collaboration with client architects, site teams and security groups to gather requirements and drive secure IT/OT integration.

You will review designs, identify risks, and ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards while guiding migration decisions.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience in OT infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, DNS, DHCP, NTP and DFS management.
• Background in industrial networks and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate the OT infrastructure architecture and tech stack.
• Collaborate with client architects, stakeholders, site teams and security groups to gather requirements.
• Assess current environments and identify constraints, integration needs, and migration considerations.
• Validate target-state architecture across network, IAM, endpoint management and security tooling.
• Define network segmentation aligned with Purdue Model principles and multiple OT layers.
• Provide guidance for IT/OT integration with compliant security and operational standards.
• Review designs, docs and migration approaches for architectural alignment.
• Act as design authority for architecture questions, decisions and deviations.
• Identify risks, gaps and blockers; drive timely resolution with stakeholders.
• Support governance forums and design reviews with clear recommendations.
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with standards and timelines.
