Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect in Hartford, CT. This senior role demands deep expertise in OT/ICS infrastructure, security, and cross-functional collaboration to shape and govern enterprise OT architectures.

Responsibilities include validating architectures across networks, IAM, and security tooling, aligning with Purdue Model segmentation, and guiding IT/OT integration. Travel and on-site presence may be required.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience in OT/ICS infrastructure architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux, DNS/DHCP/NTP, and core IT services.
• Experience with OT platforms, industrial networks, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate the OT infrastructure architecture and stack.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and constraints.
• Assess current environments and identify dependencies and migration needs.
• Validate target architecture across network, IAM, and security tooling.
• Define network segmentation aligned with Purdue Model principles.
• Provide guidance for IT/OT integration and secure communications.
• Review designs, documents, and migration approaches for consistency.
• Act as design authority for architecture decisions and deviations.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Support governance and design review meetings with clear outcomes.
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with standards.
