Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect in the United States. The role requires 16+ years of experience in OT infrastructure with deep knowledge of Windows/Linux, DNS, DHCP, NTP, DFS, storage, backup, OT platforms, and industrial security.

You will collaborate with client architects, site teams, and security to design secure, scalable OT architectures. Responsibilities include validating architecture across network, identity, and security tooling, defining Purdue

Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience in OT infrastructure architecture
• Experience with Windows/Linux, DNS, DHCP, NTP, DFS
• Knowledge of storage, backup, OT platforms, and industrial network & security
• Ability to collaborate with client architects, program stakeholders, site teams and security teams

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate the overall OT infrastructure architecture and technology stack
• Collaborate with client’s Technical Architects, program stakeholders, site teams, security teams and infrastructure SMEs to capture requirements
• Assess current-state environments and identify architecture dependencies, constraints and migration considerations
• Validate target-state OT infrastructure architecture across network, identity and security tooling
• Define and validate network segmentation aligned with Purdue Model principles
• Provide architecture guidance for secure IT/OT integration and communications paths
• Validate integration architecture for Active Directory, Privileged Access Management, PKI, endpoint protection and related services
• Review designs, build documents, and migration approaches for consistency with approved architecture
• Act as a technical design authority for architecture-related queries and decisions
• Identify risks, gaps and blockers and drive timely resolution
• Support governance forums, design reviews and technical decision meetings with documented outcomes
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and timelines
