HealthPro Heritage in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, on-site role at Quabog Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to grow within a supportive rehab team.

As part of a therapist-led organization, you will assess, treat, and educate residents to maximize independence and quality of life across nursing facilities, hospitals, and home care settings.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Lift and assist patients as needed.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
