Job summary

Port View Preparatory is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our ABA-focused educational setting. You will work under the supervision of an OT to plan and implement intervention programs for students with autism and other developmental disabilities, aligning with IEPs and school goals.

You will train school staff, supervise COTA/L, document progress, and contribute to data collection for reevaluation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
CBOT and NBCOT licenses are required.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement occupational therapy intervention programs with the supervising occupational therapist.
Plan and implement accommodations as outlined in the IEP with the supervising occupational therapist.
Provide training to educational team members for implementation and carryover of student programs.
Supervise COTA/L.
Collaborate and communicate with other members of the educational team.
Participate in team meetings to support students with identified special needs within the school or community environment.
Document intervention notes and attendance; prepare progress reports and annual summaries with the supervising OT.
Contribute to data collection for reevaluation processes as deemed appropriate by the supervising OT.
Coordinate scheduling, billing, and administrative duties as directed by the supervising OT.
Maintain and manage OT facilities and equipment.
