Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time or PRN position in El Paso, TX. The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans to restore daily functioning in self-care, work, school, and leisure activities.

You will implement tailored therapies, train patients and caregivers, modify environments for safety, and document progress within regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social capabilities related to daily functioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence in self-care, work, school, and leisure.
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to the patient’s goals and progress.
• Train patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment and strategies for daily living.
• Modify environments to enhance safety and accessibility.
• Document evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nurses.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and expectations.
• Stay current with best practices, licensing requirements, and continuing education.
