Job summary

Puffer-Sweiven in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks an experienced OT Cybersecurity professional to lead on-site deployment and integration of cybersecurity and industrial networking solutions across process control environments.

You will develop monitoring strategies, perform risk assessments of DCS/PLC/SIS, and work with operations and IT to implement secure remote access, firewalls, and playbooks, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent).
5+ years of OT cybersecurity and/or industrial networking experience.
Strong understanding of ICS/OT environments.
Hands-on experience with industrial networking technologies (switches, firewalls, routers).
Hands-on deployment experience of OT threat monitoring solutions (e.g. Dragos, Nozomi, Claroty).
Knowledge of industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, OPC UA.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site deployment and integration of OT cybersecurity solutions.
Develop monitoring baselines, alerts, and escalation paths.
Lead security event analysis and investigate alerts.
Perform architecture reviews and risk assessments of DCS, PLC, SIS, and supporting infrastructure.
Develop OT security procedures, standards, and playbooks.
Support network segmentation and secure remote access.
Assist customers with cybersecurity documentation for audits.
