Qualifications

• Clear understanding of core cybersecurity concepts and how priorities shift in an industrial environment.
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnets, switching, routing, gateways, and L2/L3 concepts.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, user administration, password policies, and patching workflows.
• Growth mindset with motivation to learn, strong problem-solving, and openness to coaching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for teamwork and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, validate, troubleshoot, and document cybersecurity solutions for control environments.
• Configure network monitoring and traffic analysis, including SPAN ports and port mirroring.
• Implement host-based security controls and patch management.
• Assist onsite with vulnerability scanning, device enumeration, and data gathering.
• Prepare vulnerability assessment reports and communicate findings clearly to operators.
• Collaborate with customer technicians during implementation for a smooth handoff.
