Job summary

Insight Global is assisting a Huntsville-area client in hiring an OT Cyber Engineer to advance research and development across all aspects of OT cybersecurity for DoD customers. The role combines hands-on analysis, deployment, and remediation in OT/ICS environments with a hybrid on-site work schedule.

Travel up to 20% may be required as projects evolve, and candidates must be eligible for a US Top Secret clearance to support sensitive deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OT cyber experience.
• Hands-on assessment and implementation/remediation OT/ICS in test ranges, depots, or other industrial settings, in at least two environments (FRCS, ICS, SCADA, PLCs).
• Experience architecting secure OT/ICS systems and infrastructure.
• Understanding of IT security requirements for facility control systems.
• Able to travel up to 20%.
• Eligible for US Top Secret Security Clearance.

Job description

A client in the Huntsville area is looking for an OT Cyber Engineer to join their team. This person will be supporting various DoD customers and will be responsible for research and development around all aspects of OT Cyber. This role offers a hybrid on-site schedule, and although travel is limited, travel to client sites could be involved in the future.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ Years of OT Cyber Experience
• Hands-on assessment and implementation/remediation OT/ICS development & cybersecurity experience in — in at least two of the following environments (FRCS, industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs) in test ranges, depots, or other physical/operational or industrial settings
• Experience architecting secure OT/ICS systems, network and host infrastructures
• Understanding of IT Security requirements as it pertains to facility control systems
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time
• Eligible for US Top Secret Security Clearance

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of OT Cyber experience
• Experienced with CISCO hardware
• Knowledge of STIGs
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
