Job summary

Accenture is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Consultant in California to lead hands-on engagements across industrial environments. You will assess, design, and implement OT/ICS security solutions, working directly with client engineers, operators, and security teams to reduce risk without disrupting operations.

You will contribute as an SME on active pursuits, support governance and policy development, and collaborate with IT/OT teams and vendors to drive practical security outcomes across

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant OT/ICS experience in environments such as electric utilities, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ICS technologies including SCADA, DCS, EMS/ADMS, RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial protocols.
• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience including vulnerability management, identity and access management in OT contexts, and monitoring/incident response.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with common ICSS/OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, PROFINET, OPC, EtherNet/IP).
• Minimum 3 years of experience producing and presenting security deliverables, assessment reports, and findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT/ICS security assessments and map findings to industry frameworks.
• Evaluate client security posture across Purdue Model layers to identify gaps.
• Deploy OT-native security tooling and asset discovery solutions at client sites.
• Perform OT-specific threat hunting, incident response support, and remediation planning.
• Develop security assessment reports, risk registers, and governance roadmaps for OT environments.
• Collaborate with client teams and vendors to drive practical security outcomes.
• Contribute to proposals and SME activities for OT security pursuits.
• Support delivery of reusable assets and delivery excellence across engagements.
