Job summary

Covenant Health's Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Center. Plan, evaluate, and implement OT treatment programs, adjusting as patients progress, under general supervision.

Collaborate with clinical staff, involve patients and families in goal setting, and document care per regulatory standards. Tennessee OT license and CPR required; limited permit allowed up to 90 days post-hire.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Occupational Therapy License.
• CPR certification required.
• May work under a Limited Permit for up to 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice – evaluation and treatment of occupational therapy patients.
• Involves patient and family in treatment, education and goal setting.
• Maintains and updates patient documentation per guidelines and audits.
• Provides supervision and training support staff where applicable.
• Meets targets for quality, service and productivity metrics.
• Participates in professional activities and quality improvement initiatives.
