Responsibilities

• Uses evaluation findings to determine appropriate assistive technology.
• Develops and implements treatment program to improve patient communication, device and environmental access.
• Plans and delivers Patient and Family Training to ensure proper patient care.
• Completes medical documentation and administrative tasks as necessary.
• Collaborates with other assistive technology departments and programs when appropriate.
• Keeps up to date with developing assistive technology to maintain state of the art service provision.
