Job DescriptionThe Assistive Technology Therapist provides therapy care to patients.Accountabilities: -Uses evaluation findings to determine appropriate assistive technology to improve. -Develops and implements treatment program to further patient's communication, device and environmental access, which is then periodically reassessed and adapted. -Plans and delivers effective Patient and Family Training to ensure proper patient care. -Completes administrative tasks including medical documentation as necessary. -Collaborates with other assistive technology departments and other programs when appropriate. -Effectively participates in intra-departmental staff meetings, and intra-departmental discipline/program committee assignments. -Keeps up to date with developing assistive technology to maintain state of the art service provision in assistive technology-Current or eligible OT Georgia licensure **Required Minimum Education*** A degree from an accredited program in occupational therapy.**Required Minimum Certifications*** BLS required* Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
