Job summary

Powerback Rehab is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Casa Real Nursing Center. This on-site role offers a competitive pay range and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaborative rehabilitation.

The OTA/COTA will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, deliver treatments, and work closely with the rehab director to restore patient independence in a supportive facility

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to design and adjust patient-centered therapy plans.
• Support patients in regaining independence and functional abilities.
• Maintain compassionate, patient-first approach in all interactions with patients and families.
