Job summary

Avem Health Partners is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapists in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes. You will assist with patient evaluations, participate in treatment plans, and help ensure quality care while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, leadership through teamwork, and adherence to Avem Health Partners' standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current Oklahoma license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current BLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Two (2) years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating patient health and mobility.
• Help develop and implement treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain detailed patient progress records and report to the OT.
• Ensure safety and infection control practices are followed.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and teamwork within the healthcare team.
