Avem Health Partners is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under supervision from an OT or COTA, in hospitals, rehab centers, or nursing homes. You will assist with patient therapy, develop treatment plans, and track progress while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate holds an OTA associate degree, Oklahoma COTA licensure, BLS certification, and preferably two years of experience in patient care.

Formación

• Associates degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Oklahoma COTA license current.
• BLS certification current or within 30 days of hire.
• Two years’ experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient health, mobility, and social/emotional status.
• Assist in developing treatment plans with the OT and implement inpatient techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and communicate findings to the OT.
• Support infection control practices and safety guidelines at all times.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
