Job summary

PT Solutions in Kokomo, IN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist licensed OTs in developing activities of daily living, ROM, balance and cognition to restore function and strength. Under supervision, you will contribute to patient care and rehabilitation programs.

You will prepare equipment, foster strong patient relationships, collaborate with clinicians, and participate in community outreach while pursuing professional development and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.
