Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Kokomo, Indiana to support an Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services including ADLs, ROM, gait, and strength programs. The role emphasizes building strong patient relationships and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Under supervision, the COTA will participate in rehab activities, contribute to goal attainment, and support community outreach and program development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure required.
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.
