Job summary

Vertis Therapy is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents at our assisted living facilities in Kokomo, IN. You will provide skilled OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve independence, safety and daily functioning.

You will document progress, collaborate with the team, and participate in wellness activities to promote mobility and well‑being. AOTA‑aligned practice and ongoing education are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license or license eligibility.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under supervision of an OT.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of treatments and progress.
• Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in team development meetings and continuing education.
• Lead community wellness programs to promote independence and safety.
