Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program.

• Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state and CPR as required.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and educate residents and families on goals.
• Recommend necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate independence.
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehabilitation program development.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the team and families.
