Job summary

Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our Navarre, OH team on a PRN basis. The OTA will support treatment plans developed by the supervising OT and help patients perform daily activities.

You will assist with exercises, cognitive activities, and adaptive equipment, monitor progress, and communicate feedback to adjust plans. We emphasize a supportive, patient-centered environment where teamwork and excellence are valued.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
