Job summary

You will work closely with licensed therapists, nurses, and other professionals, aiding in treatment delivery, documentation, and program development across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient settings such as skilled nursing facilities or hospitals.
• Hands-on experience in outpatient clinics or home health environments.
• Familiarity with acute care environments and skilled nursing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote client independence.
• Implement treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Support pediatric occupational therapy programs focused on childhood developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Help with patient transport within facilities or home health settings to facilitate therapy sessions and appointments.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including therapists, nurses, and physicians to optimize care plans.
• Maintain accurate care documentation, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Utilize knowledge of medical imaging, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support effective therapy delivery.
